As a three-time company founder, I have spent my career transforming visions into reality, facing many challenges along the way. My journey has taken me from boardrooms in financial capitals negotiating deals to the Andes mountains, where I practice kendo surrounded by the beauty of the mountains. This combination of legal experience, investment banking, and swordsmanship shapes my approach to business—one that blends strategy, discipline, and adaptability.

Over the years, I have worked in many professional roles. In addition to working with some of the world’s largest law firms, I’ve spent decades as an investment banker and business consultant. I’ve guided individuals and companies—from startups to global giants—through strategic transactions including mergers, joint ventures, financing deals, and restructurings. Whether it’s designing strategy or executing deals, I have helped businesses take advantage of opportunities and navigate challenges across the United States, Chile, Japan, Hong Kong, and beyond.

Currently, I serve as General Counsel and Head of Corporate Affairs at W4 Games, part of the Godot Engine ecosystem. From the company’s inception, I have been deeply involved, helping it grow from an idea into a global team spanning 13 countries. In this role, I manage legal affairs and collaborate on a wide range of strategic and operational matters. I also sit on advisory boards for companies in both the U.S. and Chile, where I help analyze and support legal, financial, and strategic initiatives.

With over 30 years of experience across four continents and multiple market cycles, I draw from a diverse set of cultural perspectives and market conditions. My work has spanned hundreds of assignments, with a combined value of billions of dollars, across more than 20 countries.

Outside the professional realm, I have authored 5 books and a total of over 100 articles and blog posts delving into business, finance, and legal issues. In addition to English, I am proficient in numerous languages, including Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian, Japanese, and Mandarin Chinese. When I’m not writing or working, you can find me in the Andes mountains, training for the 5th dan exam in kendo, studying languages, or composing music.
